The Honolua Advisory Council is a group of concerned community members who have come together to help secure the future of Honolua and Lipoa. We are dedicated to preserving, revitalizing, and protecting these areas by mediating dialogue and planning between the community and the landowner.

          

The Honolua Advisory Council recognizes that there is  need for dialogue among all stakeholders in the area in order to develop a plan that would reflect the needs of all parties.

To facilitate this process we have developed a draft plan based on the concerns voiced by both community members and the landowners. Mindful of the historical and sacred significance of this area, the plan reflects the values of the Host culture while embracing all people.

We would like to emphasize that the purpose of this draft plan is to serve as a starting point for dialogue and partnered planning and is Not final,nor is it complete.
It is intended as a place to begin discussion.
